Several studies are indicating that if a child is not exposed to peanuts
while his immune system is getting developed, say till the age of three,
it might help in preventing peanut allergy to develop in the child.
In case of children suffering from this, it is important to notify the
school authorities and the important people that the child interacts in
his daily living in the first place. Secondly, the kids need to be made
aware of the food products that they should not consume. The symptoms
should be told to them clearly such that they could raise an alarm if
they start feeling uncomfortable. The children should also be
discouraged from sharing any kind of food with their friends and should
be taught not to take and eat food from others. |
